Cheryl Folland (they/them) is a passionate advocate for holistic well-being and social justice.
As a Certified Trifecta Alchemist, Cheryl combines Neurosomatics, Accessibility For All Bodies, and Gender Inclusive Principles to create a transformative and inclusive support system for their clients. Their unique approach is deeply rooted in personal experience and professional training, making them a trusted guide in the realm of somatic mentorship and teaching.
Cheryl's journey is marked by a profound understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with neurodivergent brains. They have navigated these challenges firsthand, which fuels their commitment to providing a trauma-informed approach in their practice. This empathy and understanding are woven into every aspect of their work, ensuring that clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
One of the cornerstones of Cheryl's practice is the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). This powerful tool, combined with Kundalini Yogic Modalities and Parts Theory, forms the foundation of their healing methods. By integrating these diverse modalities, Cheryl helps clients access and release deep-seated emotional blocks, fostering profound healing and personal growth.
Accessibility and inclusivity are at the heart of Cheryl's work. They are dedicated to setting the lowest possible barriers to access their services, ensuring that individuals from all walks of life can benefit from their expertise. This commitment is reflected in their continuous efforts to challenge and dismantle the ableist and heteronormative norms prevalent in the coaching industry. Cheryl's practice is a safe space for all, where every individual is welcomed and valued for who they are.
Cheryl's work extends beyond individual mentorship. They are a fierce advocate for social justice, integrating these principles into their practice. By pushing the boundaries of traditional coaching, Cheryl creates a space where clients can explore their identities, heal from trauma, and reclaim their power. Their approach is holistic, addressing the mind, body, and spirit, and fostering a sense of wholeness and integration.
In addition to their one-on-one work, Cheryl is an engaging and inspiring teacher. Their workshops and training sessions are designed to empower participants with practical tools and insights that they can apply in their own lives. Cheryl's teaching style is interactive and dynamic, encouraging active participation and personal reflection. Participants leave these sessions not only with new knowledge but also with a deeper sense of connection to themselves and their community.
Cheryl's commitment to radical self-responsibility sets them apart in the field of somatic mentorship. They believe that true transformation begins within, and they guide their clients to take ownership of their healing journey. This approach fosters resilience, self-awareness, and empowerment, enabling clients to navigate life's challenges with grace and confidence.
Through their somatic mentorship and teaching business, Cheryl Folland is making a significant impact on the lives of many. Their compassionate, inclusive, and justice-oriented approach is a beacon of hope and healing in a world that often overlooks the most vulnerable. By providing accessible and transformative support, Cheryl is helping individuals reclaim their power and live authentically.
It wasn't until I sat down to revamp my website to attract the type of people and organizations I want to work with that I realized how truly remarkable my journey from homeless creative kid to successful writer, mentor, and artist really is.
I graduated from Vancouver Island University with Recognition on the Dean's List every semester before discovering my life long challenges with connection, friendships, social faux pas were Autism.
While I may have a gap in my employment history from 2021-2024 on paper, I devoted the last three years of somewhat enforced isolation due to a sensitive immune system to radical self acceptance, discovering how to communicate and market my storytelling and word wizard skills and build the kind of life I LOVE to live.
I taught myself how to navigate and utilize multiple tools and platforms and build a business that supports my needs as a neurodivergent person while expanding my reach, horizons and opportunities. And now, I want to do that with you! Whether for your company, business, brand or non-profit, I am looking to take everything I've learned in the last 20 years and apply it to your company!
Embracing Radical Self-Expression and Autonomy:
My path to self-discovery kicked off later in life when I realized I was a late-discovered autistic person. This revelation led me to find solace and empowerment in radical self-expression and autonomy. It ignited a passion in me to guide others towards their own paths of authenticity and acceptance.
Certified Trifecta Alchemy Practitioner:
My commitment to personal growth and healing spurred me to become a Certified Trifecta Alchemy Practitioner. I specialize in holistic approaches to wellness and self-integration. My unique knowledge blend, encompassing religious deconstruction, intersectionality, and holistic healing, shapes my approach to assisting others on their transformative journeys.
500 Days Sober and Counting:
Celebrating over 500 days of sobriety marks a significant milestone in my life. This journey has imbued me with resilience, courage, and an unwavering commitment to personal growth. My experience with sobriety deepens the understanding and empathy I bring to my work, inspiring others to pursue their paths towards healing and self-discovery.
A Storyteller at Heart:
My background in creative writing and journalism enhances my storytelling ability, making it a pivotal aspect of my work. Having been published in poetry journals, newspapers, and web magazines, my skill in crafting narratives that resonate with others speaks to my innate gift for storytelling.
Navigating Pandemic Challenges:
The pandemic halted my plans of becoming a renowned author, but the quiet and solitude it imposed led me to confront my trauma head-on, aided by the transformative power of my Kundalini awakening.
My journey from trauma to transformation underscores the resilience of the human spirit and the potent force of radical self-acceptance. Through "Revealed: Art, Kundalini, and You," I invite you to start a journey of self-discovery, healing, and genuine living. With me as your guide, you'll discover the courage to embrace your true self, rewrite your story, and boldly step into a life of radical self-expression and autonomy.
